APPLICATIONS

The borehole micrometer is a mechanical devise used to measure the diameter of a roof rock bolt hole along its length. The standard unit has a range of 25-37mm and a 3m flexible section (connecting handle to head). The hole diameter is read from an etched scale mounted on the handle. It works similarly to a calliper enabling the user to check borehole dimaters along the 3m length.
